Abstrak

Global Developmental Delayed (GDD) didefinisikan sebagai keterlambatan secara signifikan pada beberapa aspek meliputi : aspek fisik, aspek kognitif, aspek perilaku, aspek emosi, dan aspek sosial dan terjadi dibawah usia 5 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dynamic surface exercise dalam meningkatkan kemampuan gross motor pada anak global developmental delayed. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik. Subyek penelitian adalah anak berusia 20 bulan dengan riwayat kelahiran prematur, kelemahan tonus postural, gangguan sensori dan gangguan aktifitas fungsional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan tumbuh kembang pada sektor motorik, sektor Bahasa, sektor personal sosial, peningkatan kekuatan otot, peningkatan sensori dan kemampuan fungsional. Dynamic surface exercise dapat meningkatkan kemampuan gross motor pada Global Developmental Delayed.
