MODEL STRATEGI PERCEPATAN KETERSEDIAAN KACANG KEDELAI MELALUI SISTIM MANAJAMEN LAPANGAN TERPADU DALAM MENDUKUNG KETAHANAN PANGAN DI KALBAR

Abstrak

The low production of soybean in this country is partly due to the low productivity at the farmers level is on the average of only 13.78 ku / ha, whereas the potential production of some varieties can reach 20, 00- 35, 00 ku / ha, this is because of there is no application of specific technologies, besides the soybean prices at farmers level always fluctuated and tended to decrease the interest of the farmers to grow soybeans. In general the problems in soybean development in West Kalimantan are: a). The application of technology application is running slow, b). The use of quality seed is still low, c) The use of balanced fertilizer, bio biological and organic remains low, d). Land competition with other commodities, e). The prices are less attractive than other commodities, f). Still considered as an intercrops in the plant cultivation system, g). Marketing is not guaranteed, h). The lack of farmers' access to sources of capital / financing, and i). Institutional and  agribusiness partnership of soybean are still undeveloped. The purpose of this research is to create, construct a concept of management, especially the availability of soybean farming through the use of local resources, especially in the underprivileged. This situation is not addressed well both by farmers and local governments of Sambas district. From the results of the study in one year grant research activities are needed to the second year, in order to actualize the model pattern in soybeans. Based on the results of this study it  showed that a concept / model pattern by a nine management strategy through an integrated management system in soybean farmer groups that can be addressed by the farmer and the district government  of Sambas, West Kalimantan. Furthermore, it can draw up a concept / pattern of the new model of integrated management through the system management of soybean farmer groups based on the characteristics and problems of each area. To that require socialization, through discussions, seminars, dissemination counseling, the demonstration of farm plots to all directors, officers, PKK and farmers.
