Abstrak

This study aimed to kemapuan compost corn and plant waste Salviana molesta in increasing the organic matter content and soil nutrient. Research analyzing the chemical composition, physical of land, corn waste and Salviana molesta followed corn cultivation experiment in the tidal land. The method used is a method of experiment with design Aacak group with tarap treatment H0 = Control, H1 = 25% A + 75% S + 50% NPK, H2 = 50% A + 50% S + 50% NPK, H3 = 75% J + 25% + 50% NPK S, H4 = 100% A + 50% NPK, H5 = 100% S + 50% NPK and H6 = NPK100%. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that the required 21 units of study. The variables measured in this study include variable growth consisting of: tingggi plant, number of leaves, the amount of chlorophyll, nutrient uptake N. variable production include: cob length, cob diameter, number of cobs and cobs weight. Data were analyzed variance in the level of 5% as well as for the difference between the average value of the treatment performed HSD test at 5% significance level.
H4 treatment (a combination of 100% compostable corn waste and fertilizer NPK 50%) significantly in all variables observed growth in terms of height, leaf number, the amount of chlorophyll and nutrient uptake N. Treatment H4 produce the best growth in terms of height of 233 , 11 cm, number of leaves strands 12.11, 44.21 chlorophyll number of units and the uptake of N by 42.8 g. H4 treatment (a combination of 100% compostable corn waste and fertilizer NPK 50%) produce the best crop production that includes crop cob length of 21.13 cm, cob diameter of 4.83 cm, the amount of 7.89 cob cobs and cobs weight of 312, 23 g.
