ISOLASI BAKTERI PELARUT FOSFAT DARI LIMBAH BUAH MAJA DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP PERKECAMBAHAN BENIH PADI

Abstrak

Mikroorganisme seperti beberapa bakteri  pelarut fosfat yang berasal dari rhizosfir telah dilaporkan memiliki kemampuan sebagai pelarut fosfat dan pemacu pertumbuhan, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengisolasi dan mengevaluasi isolasi bakteri pelarut fosfat yang ada pada limbah maja dalam memacu pertumbuhan khususnya perkecambahan pada benih padi yang telah mengalami penurunan vigor. Hasil penelitian isolasi yang dilakukan pada limbah buah maja terdapat 3 isolat bakteri pelarut fosfat yang memiliki kemampuan memproduksi senyawa indole yaitu isolat 1-1, isolat 1-2 dan isolat 1-4.  Ketiga isolat ini setelah dievaluasi memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan vigor benih padi yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya daya berkecambah sebesar 38%-39,33%, keserempakan tumbuh menigkat 20,97%-40,76%  dan kecepatan tumbuh 9,28%/etmal – 10,46%/etmal.
