Abstrak
The effect of applying Chicken Manure and Biotogrow Fertilizer on the growth and yield of Cayenne Pepper(Capsicum frutescensL.) plants on alluvialsoilsin polybags.Thisstudy aimsto determine the effect of the interaction of the application of Chicken Manure and Bio to grow Fertilizer on the growth and yield of CayennePepper plants on alluvialsoilin polybags which is carried outin front of the Pangsuma Dormitory yard of Sungai Jawi.Thisstudy took place from May 10, 2019 to July 12, 2019.Thisstudy used the Complete Randomized Design (RAL) method of factorial patterns.The firstfactoris the application of Chicken Manure with code (k) and the second factoristhe application of Biotogro fertilizer code (b) with 3 levels of treatment each. For Chicken Manure, the dose given is k1 (100 grams/plant), k2 (200 grams/plant) and k3 (300 grams/plant), while forBiotogrow fertilizerthe dose given is b1 (2 ml / liter of water per plant), b2 (4 ml / liter of water per plant), and b3(6ml/liter ofwater per plant). Observed variables include plant height(cm) number of branches (branches), number of fruits (fruits), weight of planting fruits(grams).The results showed that the application of Chicken Manure and Bio to grow fertilizer had an unreal effect on the variables of plant height, number of branches, number of fruits and fruit weight per plant.The b1k3 treatment produced the highest average for variable plant height(34.11 cm), the b3k2 treatment produced the highest average number of branches (18.78 branches), the b3k2 treatment produced the highest average number offruits(38.78pieces), andthe b1k1 treatment produced the highest average fruitweight(59.12grams).
