Abstrak

Drip irrigation system is one of the methods of water use that is done as a way of improving technology to increase crop production. Drip irrigation system is one of the systems applied to tomato plants, which this system has not been widely used so its feasibility needs to be analyzed. This study aims to (1) determine the amount of costs, revenues, and income of tomato farming with drip irrigation system in urban farming activities (2) determine the feasibility of tomato farming using drip irrigation system in urban farming activities. This research was conducted at P4S Galih Jaya, Kahuripan Village, Tawang District, Tasikmalaya City. This research was conducted using a case study method. Data analysis was carried out using cost, revenue and profit analysis, as well as feasibility analysis which includes R/C Ratio. The results of the analysis obtained the total production costs incurred in carrying out tomato farming using drip irrigation system amounted to Rp. 5.769.820, the income obtained from tomato farming using drip irrigation system amounted to Rp. 7,268,700, while the income received was Rp. 1.498.880. The R/C Ratio value in tomato farming with a drip irrigation system is 1.26, this indicates that the R/C Ratio <1. This means that tomato farming with a drip irrigation system carried out by P4S Galih is profitable and feasible to run
