Pengaruh Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGRP) Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Jahe Gajah (Zingiber officinale Rose) Pada Tanah Aluvial di Polybag

Abstract
Based on data from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 2002 stated that Indonesia is the country that produces the third largest ginger after India and China. According to BPS (Central Statistics Agency) of Central Java Province, ginger productivity reaches 30 tons per year. There are three types of ginger that are commonly cultivated, namely elephant ginger (Zingiber officinale var. officinale). Roscoe), red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. officinale). Rubrum) and emprit ginger (Zingiber officinale var. Amarum). Ginger plant very well grows and develops in Indonesia. Because the soil and climate are suitable, sufficientrainfall can support ginger growth well, this study aims to determine the effect of plant growth promoting rhizobacteri(PGPR) on the growth and yield of elephant ginger plants(Zingiber officinale Rosc) on alluvial soils in polybags. This research was conducted in Tanjung Raya 2 Gg. Sabar housing Graha Zaujati BlockH5,with a height of 1meter above sea level.The duration ofthe studywas 4 months, starting from April to July 2019. Thisstudy used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL), with a factorial pattern and asingle treatment.The treatmentin this study consisted of 6 pgpr treatments. As follows h0 = No pgpr treatment. H1= PGPR 5 ml/polybag, H2= PGPR 10 ml/polybag, H3=PGPR 15ml/polybag, H4=PGPR 20ml/polybag, H5=PGPR 25ml/polybag.Repeated by 4 tests and 3 sample levels,so the total numberis 6 x 4 x 3=72 Plants.The parameters observed in the study were: 1) Plant Height, 2) Number of leaves (strands), 3) Number of saplings (branches), 4) Number of weights (fruit), 5) Environmental factors. Based on the results of the diversity analysis, it shows that giving PGPR to plant height has an unreal effect. The highest average yield in the h3 treatment with an average plant height of 34.00 cm while the lowest plant height growth wasfound in the h4 treatment with an average plant height yield of 27.38 cm. The lowest average plant height in the h4 treatment has reached the plant height standard according to the plant description, which is 12.75 cm – 68.63 cm. The highest average resultin the h4 treatment with an average number of plantleaves was 16.54while the lowest number of leaves was found in the h2 treatment with an average result of 9.42 leaves. The number of saplings per clump is on H5 with the number of saplings per clump of 1.50 and the highest on H3 with the number of saplings per clump of 2.79. The fresh weight of the plant is on H2 with an average fresh weight of the plant of 28.86 grams and the highest on H3 with a fresh weight of the plant of 34.23 grams.
