Abstract
The construction of the IAIN Pontianak Integrated Lecture Building is a strategic project utilizing the Design and Build system, which mandates the fulfillment of high-quality standards for reinforced concrete structures, although evidence of weak documentation and insufficient supervision on-site potentially impacts the structure's final quality. This study aims to analyze the implementation of quality control management, evaluate the quality of the resulting concrete structure, and test the correlation between these two variables. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, data were gathered via questionnaires from 47 respondents, encompassing consultants and contractors, and subsequently analyzed using validity, reliability, and Pearson correlation tests. Descriptive analysis results indicate that quality control management was sub-optimal, characterized by 42.55% of respondents reporting non-intensive casting supervision, which correlated with physical findings, including dimensional discrepancies in 64% of structural elements and rough concrete surfaces reported by 60% of respondents. Statistically, a strong and significant positive relationship was proven between quality control management and concrete structure quality, demonstrated by a Pearson correlation coefficient (r) of 0.649 and a significance value of 0.000. This confirms that enhancing the effectiveness of quality supervision will significantly improve the physical quality and durability of the resulting concrete structure.
